Just in time for the weekend.
My new friend.
We wanted to get a thank you present for my parents for the wedding. This little person is it. She's about 15 weeks now. We adore her. She's a Scottish Deerhound.

Back to london with a bang 💥
This is the last of my honeymoon photos. It was taken the evening Matthew began to feel unwell. I hadn't planned to share any of my honeymoon photos, or rather I hadn't really planned on taking any. I wanted to switch off digitally, but in the end Matthew took all the photos of me for memories. So I just borrowed them, because after the hospital I wanted us to remember the good part. It was a lovely trip. #honeymoon

Matthew took this on the way to our engagement session with @josevilla. The sun was setting and the light was incredible. Thank you so much for all your incredibly kind words of support for us. He's resting and will hopefully make a full recovery soon.

I'm sorry I have been absent online recently. As you might have guessed from this photo a lot has happened. Meet my husband Matthew.
It's been an emotional rollercoaster from the moment I met him 876 days ago. I didn't plan on introducing him like this, but things don't always work out how they're planned. While I've been gone we got married (which I will tell you all about another time) and headed off on honeymoon. Everything was perfect. We couldn't have been happier or more excited. The first part was to be a tour of the Italian Lakes, the second was a trip to the Seychelles (which it seems wasn't meant to happen). Each hotel and lake was stunning. We spent our time exploring villages looking for local fare with our little convertible Abarth and speedboats. But on our penultimate night things began to unravel; it became obvious he was going to have to have emergency appendix surgery far from home and since then we have been battling through ambulances and hospitals who have very little English and our even poorer Italian. It's been a frightening struggle that neither of us could have foreseen but the experience has shown us how much we love each other, how strong we can be for each other and how much we meant the vows we made so recently to each other. We are finally home and Matthew is making a good recovery. We are so grateful to all the kind staff at Ospedale Castelli Pronto Soccorso that cheerfully helped us patiently with the aid of Google translate! It's normally not my thing to share my private life but I think it's so important that you know that nothing runs smoothly for anyone all the time and if you're struggling with something you're not alone. We are with you.
